Rebecca Winslow : October 5th, 2007
"The Rebecca Winslow Spirit Award and Scholarship" was established in honor of the memory of Rebecca Winslow who was tragically killed in a car accident on October 5th, 2007. Rebecca was a varsity senior soccer player who was an inspiration to all who came in contact with her. She was the smallest person on the soccer team with one of the biggest hearts. Her positive outlook and dedication was not only demonstrated on the field, but it carried over to her school, community and church. She loved the Lord and she loved to serve. This award and scholarship is presented annually to the Dayton Christian senior athlete who makes significant and continuous contributions, like Rebecca, to their sport, school, community and church.

It is with a heavy heart that I post of Roderick Long’s passing (2011 DC graduate) yesterday after battling with significant health issues. Please lift up his family to the Throne during this time. Mr. Bud Schindler has graciously opened the Dayton Christian cafetorium to pray with and support any who wish to stop by.
