ReplyDeleteZIMMERMAN, Joe age 44, beloved son, protective brother and honored veteran, passed away on Tuesday January 10th. Always the first person in the room to make you smile, Joe was a constant source of laughter for his family and friends. There was nothing like a shared belly laugh with Joe. Once, to a high school teacher who disapproved of his "rebellious" high-top hair cut, Joe slyly quipped, "But... it's pointing to Jesus !" Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1989 to 2002. He served in Psychological Operations and was deployed to Iraq (Desert Storm), Somalia (Operation Restore Hope) and Bosnia (Operation Joint Endeavor). Joe was a graduate of Wright State University and a parachute enthusiast. Joe is survived by the most caring and loving mother on the planet, Sharone Hutchinson, stepfather John Hutchinson, brother Chad Zimmerman, grandmother Juanita Moore, aunt Bevy (George Ogg), uncle Ed, and uncle Gary (Terra Moore). Friends may call at the Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Saturday, January 14th from 10:00 AM until noon. Funeral services with Pastor Paul Craig officiating will begin at noon. Private interment will be at Dayton National Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to schlientzandmoore.com.
